Essential Duties and Responsibilities 

 

  • Understand performance objectives, develop successful strategies to achieve goals
  • Knowledgeable using paid media to influence customer lifecycle (awareness through booking)
  • Proactively monitor performance of campaigns
  • Vendor communication and management 
  • Partner with key internal resources to develop and execute campaigns (Field Marketing, Brand Teams, Analytics, Creative)
    • Ability to aggregate, analyze and pull reports 
    • Recommend new products, partners, services and any opportunities to drive overall department goals and remain competitive
  • Keep daily tabs on industry trends and serve as a subject matter expert

 

 

 

 

 

  1. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

 

Education – 

Bachelor's Degree in Business, Interactive, Marketing or a relevant field of work, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience. 

 

Experience

2+ years’ progressive work-related experience with demonstrated mastery of technical and business knowledge and understanding of multiple disciplines/processes related to the position Minimum 3 years digital media experience 

Technical Skills and Knowledge

  • Demonstrated project management experience in organizing, planning and executing marketing projects from conception through implementation.
  • Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in business software products such as Excel, Microsoft Access, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Demonstrated strong knowledge of Internet systems, marketing programs, and affiliate networks.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and manage relationships with marketing affiliates, regional teams, franchisees and hotel owners.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and research abilities.  Demonstrated ability to use the results of investigation and analysis to make effective strategic decisions.

  • This position makes decisions on partnering with specific Interactive companies and placements. 
  • This position makes initial contract negotiation and revenue analysis.
  • This position makes recommendations and decisions on performance-based direct channel marketing opportunities within pre-set spending limits and/or ROI guidelines.
  • This position manages customer expectations of the customer (brands, hotels, agents)
