This role is primarily responsible for hotel product management and force on 3rd Party Integration with hotel core system such as PMS, POS, S&C etc. Ensure consistency and quality product delivery and technical standards. Act as a product role of PMS deployment and migration in a responsible way.
To deliver the hotel product successfully, he/she should have the ability to do data/requirement analysis, provide professional output on product design, deliver the product to hotel and product enhancement as product owner.
Your day to day
• To manage and maintain corporate technical standard of 3rd party interface integrate with hotel PMS, include but only limited to F&B POS, Call Accounting, Door Lock, etc.
• To manage and maintain corporate technical standard of Localization integration with hotel PMS, include but not limited to PSB, VAT Fapiao, E-Signature, etc.
• Define and prioritize the hotel product roadmap, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, customer needs and product vision
• Create product features and user stories and collaborate with Scrum Masters, Developers, Bas and QAs on product delivery to achieve business objectives
• Resolve & troubleshooting common issues faced by the hotels of Integration Layer as IHG Level 2 Support Role.
• Working as product assist role for hotel PMS migration project with system cutover.
• Working as product assist role of PMS new feature requirement evaluation and management
• Collaborate with third party product vendors, ensure external partners and integrations meet IHG standards and requirements
• Drive and execute the product development lifecycle, including gathering and socializing requirement, refining product requirement, defining acceptance criteria, managing product delivery, supervising tests as well as product launch and operation.
• Monitor and analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve the product's performance and identify areas for growth.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and operation teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
What we need from you
• A bachelor's degree in technology or business, Computer Science is a plus
• Minimum 5 years PMS and PMS Interface installation and implementation experience or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Strong product and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Demonstrated knowledge of the Service and Technology Industries.
• Strong logical thinking with a good understanding on technical concepts.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into user-friendly features and interfaces.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
• Ability work with team members to find various solutions for complex situations so that hotels will have viable options to be compliant and align their hotel technology to IHG system strategy.
• Demonstrated experience in organizing, planning and executing multiple implementations across a portfolio of hotels. Proficient in completing engagements in a timely manner and following up on tasks from the client engagements.
• Good English written and verbal communication skills.
• General understanding of technology environments and system lifecycles.
