You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests. You will also work alongside our Chefs and Banqueting team, and we know that between you all we will really make a name for ourselves.
Complete daily beverage inventory journal, bar opening and closing stock and initiates requisitions in accordance to the established par stock, for any bar in the hotel as assigned by the Bar Manager or Assistant Bar Manager.
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing a vibrant environment for our guests to ‘kick back’ in and chill out with their favourite beer or cocktail, leading your team to success.
Prepare beverage for guests in the any bar in the hotel as assigned by the Bar Manager, Assistant Bar Manager, Head Bartender, or Lead Bartender.
Courteously greet the guests arriving to the bar and invite them to have a drink.
Advice and inform guests about different drinks that they want to try.
Take orders and promote beverage specials in accordance to the established standards and guest preferred drinks
Mix and shakes drinks according to the guest’s desire.
Follow the hygiene standard according to HACCP.
Maintain the bar area clean at all time during the service and after closing.
Serve ice cold alcoholic and not alcoholic drinks to the customers.
Entertain customer with different exhibitions and flares in bartending
Check guest satisfaction and attend to guests’ request or inquiries regarding beverage and services.
Prepare the bill to the customer and wait for their payments.
Present guests check and follow all billing procedures.
Keeping alcoholic drinks on their respective tracks.
Providing Food & Beverage service as per standards.
Ensures 100% guest satisfaction by providing memorable service to the guest.
Ensures smooth operations by following the managers instructions.
Ensures good teamwork by being flexible and helpful.
Ensure a minimum of breakage and spoilage by handling the assets carefully.
Always have “Can do” attitude.
Always smile in front of the guest.
Clean and polishes glassware, chinaware, hollowware and flatware.
Maintain cleanliness and mise-en-place level at bar counter, bar cabinets, shelves, floor and service pantry for smooth operation.
Obtain beverage requisitions and bar supplies from storeroom.
Follow correct sequence of service and standard of sanitation and hygiene.
Set up bar equipment and prepares mise-en-place in accordance with Bar policy.
Clean the bar counter inside out during service time and at closing. Dispose the garbage bags and clear empty bottles and beer barrels at the designated area.
Check bars counter for necessary repairs and follow up with appropriate work order to Engineering.
Maintain excellent grooming standards at all times.
Adhere to training and instructions from Lead Bartenders
To assist other venues when required with the direction of the Banquet Manager and Director of Restaurants and Bars.
The role is to play a dual role whereby you will not only attend the beverage requests given by guests but also act as an F&B attendant assist the venue’s operations by stepping outside of the bar counter and take orders, clean and wait guests and tables when required
It’s a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.

Proven experience as a bartender in a luxury hotel, upscale bar, or high-end lifestyle venue
Strong passion for mixology, spirits, wine, and cocktail culture, with a creative yet refined approach
Exceptional guest engagement skills with a confident, warm, and professional presence
Ability to deliver personalized, memorable experiences while maintaining efficiency during peak service
In-depth knowledge of classic cocktails, contemporary mixology trends, and premium brands
High standards of grooming, hygiene, and presentation in line with luxury lifestyle expectations
Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistency and quality
Ability to work collaboratively with service and culinary teams to ensure seamless operations
Calm, composed, and solution-oriented when handling guest requests or challenges
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
Strong sense of integrity, responsibility, and professionalism
Commitment to continuous learning, skill development, and service excellence
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
Knowledge of POS systems and cash-handling procedures preferred
