Key Responsibilities Guest Service & Operations

Supervise and coordinate daily Bell Desk and Doorman operations to ensure efficient service delivery.

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out experience.

Ensure all luggage, parcels, and guest belongings are handled safely, accurately, and promptly.

Escort guests to their rooms, explain room features, and provide hotel and local information.

Assist with arranging taxis, transportation, and courier or delivery services as requested by guests.

Ensure that all guest vehicles are parked safely and returned promptly by the valet team.

Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly to any special requests or service recoveries.

Team Supervision & Training

Assign daily duties and shifts to Bell Attendants, Doormen, and Valet staff.

Conduct team briefings, grooming checks, and ensure adherence to hotel service standards.

Train and motivate the team in guest service, safety procedures, and up-selling hotel services.

Monitor performance, provide feedback, and support a culture of teamwork and professionalism.

Coordination & Communication

Maintain close coordination with Front Desk, Concierge, and Security for smooth guest flow.

Liaise with the Concierge Desk for VIP movements, luggage storage, and transportation requests.

Ensure accurate communication and documentation of all luggage movements and guest requests.

Safety & Administration

Maintain accurate records for luggage tags, key control, and guest storage items.

Ensure all equipment (bell trolleys, luggage racks, etc.) is clean, functional, and properly stored.

Report any suspicious behavior, safety hazards, or maintenance needs to the duty manager.

Ensure compliance with hotel safety, hygiene, and vehicle handling policies.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum Diploma in Hospitality Management (Bachelor preferred).

2–3 years’ experience in Bell Desk operations at a 5-star international hotel, including 1 year in a supervisory or senior bell attendant role.

Strong communication skills in English and Bengali; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.

Good local area knowledge and familiarity with guest service procedures.

Physically fit and well-groomed with professional demeanor.
