As Demi Chef, your passion for presentation and commitment to exceptional flavor will elevate every guest’s experience. By taking pride in your workspace, maintaining high standards, and bringing your culinary expertise to our menu, you'll play a key role in creating lasting memories for our guests.

We're looking for an experienced Demi Chef to join our team on a part-time basis, minimum 24 hours per week. 

Your day to day

  • Prepares, cooks and serves food
  • Monitor routine workplace operations 
  • Assist in breaking down and setting up various kitchen stations 
  • Prepare kitchen for the restaurant and banqueting 
  • Store stock in compliance with set food safety standards 
  • Monitor, control and order new stock 
  • Adhere to all regulations in respect of Health and safety, hygiene, guest safety, fire regulations, emergency procedures, etc  

What we need from you

  • Qualifications in Commercial Cookery/Culinary Arts from a registered training provider
  • Proven hospitality Kitchen experience 
  • Sometimes you’ll need to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg). This can involve bending and kneeling
  • Good reading, writing and basic maths skills
  • Flexibility with night, weekend and public holiday shifts
  • ​Communication skills – ability to develop rapport within a short time frame​
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment​
  • Previous experience working in a commercial kitchen​
  • Previous customer service experience, preferably within the hospitality industry 
  • Display a commitment to our guests to consistently maintain a high level of quality at all times
