We are looking for a Finance & Business Support Assistant to join our Finance team. In this role, you’ll provide essential financial and business support that underpins the smooth operation of the hotel, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial governance. This is a Part-time role, based on HIGA Level 4.
Your Day to Day:
- Provide comprehensive day-to-day finance and business support, ensuring accurate processing of transactions, records, and financial controls.
- Maintain and reconcile records including accounts payable/receivable, cash handling, bank and ledger reconciliations.
- Prepare and process invoices, financial reports and documentation to support operational and compliance requirements.
- Respond to finance-related enquiries and collaborate with internal teams to support operational efficiency.
- Support audit readiness and financial compliance through accurate record-keeping and timely reporting.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated experience in a finance, accounting support or business support role.
- Strong proficiency in financial systems and Microsoft Excel, with a focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
- Understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes, reconciliations and financial record management.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and build effective relationships
