Front Office Agent
We are seeking a polished, service-driven Front Office Agent to deliver a seamless and professional guest experience from arrival to departure. This role is ideal for a hospitality professional with strong communication skills and experience in a four- or five-star hotel environment, who understands the importance of first impressions and brand standards.
A professional overview of your role:
As a Front Office Agent, you will be the primary point of contact for guests, ensuring efficient front desk operations while delivering warm, attentive, and consistent service in line with hotel and brand standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Welcoming guests and managing check-in and check-out processes accurately and efficiently.
- Handling guest inquiries, requests, and concerns with professionalism and effective service recovery.
- Managing room assignments, billing, payments, and cash handling in accordance with procedures.
- Coordinating closely with Housekeeping, Reservations, Concierge, and other departments to ensure room readiness and guest satisfaction.
- Maintaining accurate guest profiles, preferences, and records within the PMS.
- Processing reservations, amendments, and extensions when required.
- Ensuring compliance with brand standards, SOPs, and data privacy requirements.
- Preparing shift reports, cash summaries, and handover notes accurately.
- Supporting upselling initiatives and loyalty program enrollments.
- Representing the hotel with a professional appearance and confident demeanor at all times.
What we are looking for:
- Proven experience as a Front Office Agent or Guest Service Agent, preferably in a four- or five-star hotel.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Proficiency in PMS systems (Opera or similar systems will be an advantage).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational ability.
- Good command of English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Well-groomed appearance with a professional and welcoming attitude.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
