We are seeking an experienced HR HCM Reporting & Analytics Analyst to support the design, development, and delivery of workforce reporting and analytics solutions. The analyst will partner with HR, IT, and business leaders to respond to issues within the reporting suite, drive data-driven decision-making, enhance reporting capabilities, and ensure the integrity of workforce data across our HCM system.
Key Responsibilities
System specific activities:
- Develop and maintain reports using SQL in Oracle Fusion Cloud for HCM and Payroll modules
- Develop custom BI Publisher reports and OTBI analysis and dashboards
- Good understanding of Oracle Fusion tables and security module
- Develop core dashboards outside of HR system and maintain and validate dashboards.
Analyst specific activities:
- Partner with COEs to define requirements, ensuring data solutions meet business objectives.
- Monitor data integrity, identify gaps, and work with HRIS/IT to resolve discrepancies.
- Triage reported issues for reporting and dashboards and ensure a resolution
- Testing and validation of new reports, fixes and enhancements as well as configuration changes and data uploads.
- Validate HR dashboards on the system (line manager, HR and Finance).
- Provide, create, review and distribute key reports- (monthly, quarterly, and annually). Ensure reports are produced in an accurate and timely manner, and closely review all information for accuracy prior to distribution
Co-ordination activities
- Manage the HR reporting catalogue and documentation to ensure reports are aligned to templates and appropriate field names.
- Manage reporting tickets and work closely with other teams on reporting tickets to ensure data quality corrections are reflected in the reports.
- Develop materials to support end users of reports and dashboards to ensure they are able to self serve and extract useable insight.
- Actively participate in upcoming projects and project teams to proactively identify data, analysis, trending and reporting and requirements.
- Data Governance & Process Improvement
- Support data governance initiatives by ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and confidentiality.
- Recommend process improvements for reporting efficiency and consistency.
- Stay up to date with HCM system upgrades, new features, and best practices to continuously enhance reporting capabilities.
Experience
- Oracle Fusion HCM Data Objects, Reporting and Dashboarding
- DATA MANAGEMENT – Extract and manipulate data in a timely and accurate manner.
- PROJECT MANAGEMENT – able to manage small scale projects to time and budget.
- PROBLEM SOLVING – resolve technical challenges in a calm and measured approach.
Technical Skills and Knowledge
- TABLEAU – Create, update, maintain and new dashboards.
- POWER BI – merge, transform, maintain excel worksheets
- EXCEL – Advanced level – vlookup, pivots, macros etc.
- ORACLE HCM > SQL
