Housekeeping Attendant
We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Housekeeping Attendant to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and presentation across guest rooms and assigned areas. This role is essential in delivering a consistent four- or five-star guest experience, where attention to detail and professionalism make a meaningful difference.
A professional overview of your role:
As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and hotel areas are immaculately cleaned, well maintained, and presented in accordance with brand standards, contributing directly to guest satisfaction and overall hotel reputation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Cleaning and servicing guest rooms according to daily assignments and established housekeeping standards.
- Making beds, replenishing amenities, linen, and guest supplies accurately and efficiently.
- Cleaning bathrooms thoroughly and ensuring all fixtures, fittings, and surfaces meet hygiene standards.
- Maintaining cleanliness of corridors, service areas, and other assigned sections.
- Identifying and reporting maintenance issues, lost & found items, and guest requests promptly.
- Ensuring proper use, handling, and storage of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Adhering strictly to hotel SOPs, hygiene, safety, and environmental guidelines.
- Respecting guest privacy and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Supporting colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth housekeeping operations.
What we are looking for:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Attendant or Room Attendant, preferably in a four- or five-star hotel environment, will be an advantage.
- Good understanding of cleaning procedures, hygiene standards, and room presentation.
- Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks and prolonged standing.
- Strong sense of responsibility, reliability, and teamwork.
- Basic communication skills in English; Arabic language will be an advantage.
- Professional attitude with a willingness to learn and follow standards.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
