Your day to day
- Sourcing and Contracting: Leads technology/tech-related sourcing and negotiations activities by engaging with internal clients, suppliers and other stakeholders. Use competitive benchmarking (both internal and external) to identify value creation: cost savings/avoidance, demand consolidation, improved ways of working and other value sources. Ensures end-to-end work is completed in GEP at a high quality levels supporting strong customer satisfaction response rates and scores. Seeks to identify revenue creation for hotels in supplier agreements
- Drives Finance and Legal Alignment: Along with Finance and Legal, ensure proper budget approval, contract approval and contract signature authority. Serves as a cross-functional bridge while identifying risk with effective mitigations. Works with Finance to identify potential budget under-runs and over-runs to balance the portfolio.
- Spend Optimization : Helps to drive IHGs’ Efficiently and Effectiveness spend optimization program. This includes the creation and maintenance of corporate Procurement spend cubes, strategic analysis across category levels, cost centers and suppliers. Develops spend visualization in Tableau and creates executive level presentations. Drives cost savings funnel meetings across Corporate Procurement. Collaborates with team members on savings hypotheses.
What we need from you
- Bachelor degree: Business (Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, others) or the combination of an equivalent of education and work-related experience
- CPSM or CPIC certification preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
- Requires strong organizational skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities at the same time
- Flexible approach to change, with a positive attitude to fluctuating workload
- Analytics
- Negotiations and contracting
- GEP Procurement software experience or equivalent
- Agentic AI
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in the ATLANTA office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolved with the changing needs of the business.
Travel - limited
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
