You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests. You will also work alongside our Chefs and Banqueting team, and we know that between you all we will really make a name for ourselves.
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing a vibrant environment for our guests to ‘kick back’ in and chill out with their favourite beer or cocktail, leading your team to success.
Greeting guests with eye contact and smile.
Escort guests to their tables if needed.
Present menus to the guests and answer questions about menu items.
Suggest food and beverages to be well versed with the menu, method of preparation and accompaniments.
Taking food and drink orders.
Serving food and beverages.
Check with guests to ensure that they are enjoying their meals and take action to correct any problems.
Remove dishes and glasses from the tables for cleaning.
Follow the standards.
Check all the area of the restaurant are clean before the restaurant open and remain restaurant clean at all times.
Special clean the restaurant equipment including dining tables and chairs on daily basis or according to the schedule.
Dealing with bill payments and always check the accuracy before present to guests.
Support other outlets when necessary.
Prepare tables for meals, including set up items such as linen, silverware and glassware
Maintain cleanliness and mise-en-place level at working station and service pantry for smooth operation.
Replenish supply of linen and other Operating equipment.
Obtain requested items from the storeroom.
Keep general appearance and maintenance of restaurant working areas.
Follow correct sequence of service outlined in the Standard Operating Procedure.
Set up tables in accordance with Restaurant policy.
Clean and removes dishes from the table after service is completed.
Transport soiled dishes from dining room to kitchen and depositing them in proper placing at the Steward area.
Clean all spillage during mealtime and at closing.
Always maintain excellent grooming standard
To support other venues (when required by your manager and directions) when required ensuring that guest experiences are always protected and prioritised
To develop great knowledge and sense of hospitality and specialty coffee knowledge and skills.
To serve beverages, and food if required, to customers in a timely manner as well as ensuring the quality is on par.
To learn about filter coffee brewing, sensory training, and pass filter brew examination.
Up to date with current and new news in specialty coffee
Refining skills behind bar; enhancing speed while making drinks, etc
Be proactive; learn menu, company's products, and coffee knowledge
Know the ingredients, preparation of food and beverage
Have full coffee and brewing equipment knowledge; you are able to highlight the differences between different beans and items
Educate customers about specialty coffee, beverage, and food items
Prepare coffee and beverage, especially filter brew technique
Replenish coffee bean supply
Replenish supplies such as cakes, pastries, bottles drinks, fruits, disposable items etc. (chocolate, milk, disposables...).
It’s a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.

A genuine passion for delivering exceptional and personalized guest service
Previous experience in food & beverage service, preferably within a luxury or upscale hospitality environment
A polished, professional appearance with excellent grooming standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage confidently and courteously with guests
A positive, service-driven attitude and a natural ability to anticipate guest needs
High standards of integrity, discretion, and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and elegance
Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
A commitment to continuous learning, service excellence, and brand standards
Knowledge of fine dining service standards, wine, or beverage service
Multilingual skills considered an advantage
Familiarity with luxury hotel operating systems and service philosophies
