The role is primarily responsible for hotel product management. To deliver the hotel product successfully, he/she should have the ability to do data/requirement analysis, provide professional output on product design, deliver the product to hotel and product enhancement as product owner.
With information security becoming increasingly important in Hospitality industry, the role focuses on hotel product design and delivery on GC Access Management Platform (AMP) product, which provides enterprise solution to centralize manage GC hotel SaaS product integrations with IHG in the scope of hotel master data, hotel user access, as well as AIO back-office platform tool to facilitate these managements.
The role will also be involved in hotel solution initiatives to support project teams, take necessary operation tasks including new third-party applications onboarding on access management platform, hotel onboarding data readiness review and define operation guidelines to support GC business team and hotels.
Your day to day
- Define and prioritize the hotel product roadmap, work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with business objectives, customer needs and product vision
- Create product features and user stories and collaborate with Scrum Masters, Developers, Bas and QAs on product delivery to achieve business objectives
- Collaborate with Solution Architects, Tech leads and other product owners to create product solutions and identify impacts to other products and teams in IHG
- Engage with global and regional stakeholders and leaders to drive alignments on product solutions, and secure commitments from cross-functional teams on product delivery
- Collaborate with third party product vendors, ensure external partners and integrations meet IHG standards and requirements
- Drive and execute the product development lifecycle, including gathering and socializing requirement, refining product requirement, defining acceptance criteria, managing product delivery, supervising tests as well as product launch and operation
- Monitor and analyze user feedback and data to continuously improve the product's performance and identify areas for growth.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and operation teams to develop go-to-market strategies and ensure successful product launches.
What we need from you
- A bachelor's degree in technology or business, Computer Science is a plus
- 3-5 years in Hotel IT or IT Management or Account/Portfolio Management or Technology Implementations work-related experience in product delivery.
- Strong product and project management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the Service and Technology Industries.
- Strong logical thinking with a good understanding on technical concepts.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to translate complex ideas and concepts into user-friendly features and interfaces.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Good at build long and trusted relationship with global information security team and compliance team.
- Ability work with team members to find various solutions for complex situations so that hotels will have viable options to be compliant and align their hotel technology to IHG system strategy.
- Demonstrated experience in organizing, planning and executing multiple implementations across a portfolio of hotels. Proficient in completing engagements in a timely manner and following up on tasks from the client engagements.
- General understanding of technology environments and system lifecycles.
