Lead the management of large, complex projects that span multiple development and business teams, ensuring the successful delivery of new applications and systems aligned with business and customer objectives. Drive the execution of strategic initiatives defined by leadership, translating organizational goals into actionable project plans. Apply proven project management methodologies, tools, and best practices to balance scope, schedule, cost, and quality, meeting or exceeding stakeholder expectations. Collaborate closely with stakeholders to identify both explicit and evolving needs. Take an active leadership role in developing the team by providing hands-on training, mentoring, and technical guidance to less experienced staff, fostering their professional growth and enhancing overall team capability.
Your day to day
- Lead and develop junior delivery team members through hiring, training, and ongoing mentorship to build a high-performing team.
- Define and implement cohesive project plans and promote project management with best practices and methodologies across the Distribution Team and key stakeholders.
- Plan and manage resource allocation and prioritization in collaboration with senior leadership to ensure successful project delivery.
- Facilitate training sessions and workshops to continuously improve team processes and ways of working.
- Identify risks and opportunities to enhance delivery effectiveness and drive continuous improvement within the supported organization.
What we need from you
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Organizational Development, or equivalent experience; PMP certification preferred or required within 6 months of hire. Advanced proficiency with Smartsheet or similar project management tools required.
- 6 to 10 years of progressive project management experience, including 3 to 5 years in supervisory or team leadership roles, preferably managing complex business-side projects within enterprise organizations.
- Proven ability to lead projects through ambiguity and change, demonstrating strong problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Excellent negotiation, conflict management, and relationship-building skills, with a deep understanding of group dynamics.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills for engaging with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project success.
Location - Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.
The salary range for this role is $58,844 to $140,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
