We are looking for a part time Storeperson (22 hours per week) to join our Finance team!

Your day to day 

You’ll support the smooth operation in Stores, working closely with Food & Beverage and Finance teams. Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing daily Stores operations
• Receiving, checking and storing food and beverage goods
• Maintaining clean, organised storerooms and fridges
• Assisting with monitoring stock levels, maintaining PAR levels and preparing market lists
• Assisting with placing orders and completing month-end stocktakes
• Inputting invoices into the Foodbuy e-Procurement system as required
• Supporting the Director of Finance and Business Support with additional duties
• Building strong working relationships across the hotel
• Adhering to IHG standards for grooming, presentation and conduct

You’ll also help maintain a safe and compliant workplace by:

• Complying with HACCP, food safety and WHS policies
• Taking pride in keeping work areas clean, safe and well organised
• Following emergency procedures, safe manual handling practices and PPE requirements
• Actively identifying and reporting workplace hazards or incidents

What we need from you 

You’ll bring a positive attitude, strong organisational skills and a commitment to teamwork. You will also have:

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel and brand
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities
• A current Forklift Licence

This role requires the ability to:

• Walk and stand for extended periods
• Bend, squat, kneel and lift awkward loads of 15kg or more
• Frequently push and pull loads (trolleys over 50kg)
• Occasionally climb step ladders and work with hot liquids
