People

  • Manage everyday activity, plan and assign work ensuring you always have the right staffing numbers
  • Train colleagues to make sure they deliver with compliance and to the standards we expect
  • Promote teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
  • Recommend or initiate any HR elated actions where needed
  • Ensures clear lines of communication exist to disseminate information affecting employer - employee relations, employee activities and hotel policies and programmes.
  • Liaise with Trade Union for related employee activitives.
  • Supporting manage operation of clinic and nurse’ duty
  • Handling employee relations, welfare and benefits such as, duty meal at canteen, birthday, welcome, farewell, recognition programs.

Guest Experience

  • Assists the Human Resource Manager/ Director (HRM/HRD), where appropriate, in the development and preparation of the Hotel’s Strategic Plan, Marketing Plan and Goals Programme
  • Maintains effective communications at all levels of management and staff.
  • Assists in maintaining and creating a positive atmosphere within the hotel that allows for open two way communication that ensures morale and productivity reach the highest possible levels.
  • Participates in developing and implementing programmes to ensure employee security and safety.
  • Ensures all staff are aware of company benefits and make these available.

Financial 

  • Monitor budget and control expenses with a focus on labour costs, benefits related (healthcare, canteen, activitives….ect)
  • Mitigate financial risks associated with employee relations issues 

Internal Activities:

  • As the Internal Employee Activity Supervisor, you will be responsible for designing, coordinating, and implementing various employee engagement and wellness initiatives within the organization. Your primary objective will be to foster a positive work environment, enhance employee morale, and promote a healthy work-life balance. This role requires creativity, excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of employee needs and interests.
  • Organize and execute a wide range of employee engagement events, such as team-building activities, holiday celebrations, and wellness workshops.
  • Coordinate logistics, including venue selection, catering, and entertainment, to ensure seamless execution of events.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather feedback and improve future events.

Wellness Program Management:

  • Develop and manage wellness programs aimed at promoting physical and mental well-being among employees.
  • Partner with external vendors and health professionals to offer educational sessions, fitness classes, and other wellness initiatives.
  • Monitor participation and assess the effectiveness of wellness programs through employee feedback and data analysis.

Employee Recognition Programs: Develop creative ways to celebrate and implement employee recognition programs to acknowledge outstanding performance, milestones, and contributions.

Communication and Promotion:

  • Create compelling communication materials, including newsletters, posters, and emails, to promote upcoming events and initiatives.
  • Utilize internal communication channels, such as intranet portals and social media platforms, to engage employees and generate excitement.
  • Act as a liaison between employees and management to ensure their voices and suggestions are heard and considered in activity planning.
  • Be responsible in keeping our property safe and secure, to participate in any hotel activity related to Fire Life safety
  • Be a friendly face and helping hand to our guests 
  • Look smart – wear your uniform with pride
  • Other ad-hoc duties – unexpected moments when we have to pull together to get a task done
  • May assist with other duties as assigned by management
