As a professional in your role, your responsibilities and essential job functions will include but are not limited to:
Strategy & Innovation
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI for enhancing guest experience, revenue generation, operational efficiency, and employee productivity.
- Advise senior management on emerging AI technologies relevant to the hospitality sector.
- Develop and execute an AI adoption roadmap aligned with business goals.
AI Implementation & Integration
- Collaborate with IT and departmental leaders to assess, select, and deploy AI platforms and tools.
- Oversee integrations with existing hotel systems such as PMS (Property Management System), CRM, HRIS, POS, and Finance platforms.
- Ensure data integrity, compliance (GDPR, local regulations), and cybersecurity when implementing AI solutions.
Cross-Departmental Support
- Marketing & Sales: Implement AI for personalized guest outreach, CRM analytics, demand forecasting, dynamic pricing, and campaign optimization.
- HR: Use AI tools for candidate screening, onboarding automation, employee sentiment analysis, and learning & development customization.
- Finance: Introduce AI-driven forecasting, fraud detection, budgeting automation, and spend analytics tools.
- Operations & Guest Services: Recommend AI for housekeeping automation, guest service chatbots, predictive maintenance, and smart room technology.
Training & Change Management
- Conduct workshops, demos, and training sessions to educate employees on AI tools and their usage.
- Act as a liaison between technical vendors and hotel teams to ensure smooth adoption.
Monitoring & Evaluation
- Define KPIs to assess the impact of AI projects.
- Continuously monitor performance and recommend adjustments for optimization.
Ideally, you should possess some or all the following qualifications and experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML, preferably with exposure to the hospitality or service industry.
- Experience working with platforms such as ChatGPT, Salesforce Einstein, Tableau, Power BI, Google AI, or similar.
- Strong project management and stakeholder communication skills.
- Ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
- Familiarity with hotel tech stacks (e.g., Opera PMS, Salesforce CRM, Oracle Hospitality).
- Experience with AI chatbots, recommendation engines, or robotic process automation (RPA).
- Knowledge of data privacy laws relevant to the UAE and global guests.
- A blend of analytical thinking and creative problem-solving.
