Assistant Chief Engineer - Six Senses Con Dao

Responsibilities

• Assist the Departement Head in managing day-to-day engineering operations, ensuring guest requests and maintenance tasks are handled efficiently.
• Supervise, train, coach, and evaluate engineering team members to maintain high performance and morale.
• Oversee the upkeep of all resort facilities and systems, including pools, drainage, fire alarms, and kitchen equipment.
• Implement and monitor preventive maintenance schedules and energy conservation programs.
• Manage inventory levels, coordinate with suppliers, and ensure cost-effective purchasing of engineering materials.
• Ensure contractor work meets resort quality standards.
• Enforce safety, hygiene, and emergency procedures while aligning with Six Senses brand standards and values.
• Maintain a professional appearance and represent the resort with a positive attitude.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 3 years of engineering experience in a hotel or resort environment; international experience is a plus.
• Proven leadership, communication, and technical skills.
• Strong English proficiency; other language skills are an advantage.
• Available to work evenings, weekends, and travel as required.
