Role Purpose

We are seeking a highly experienced and results-driven finance professional with over 8 years of progressive experience in Record-to-Report (R2R). The ideal candidate will bring strong technical expertise, sound business acumen, and the ability to manage multiple finance processes while effectively collaborating with stakeholders and leading teams.

 

Key Accountabilities

Lead and manage end-to-end Record-to-Report (R2R) processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timeliness

Drive month-end and year-end closing activities, including journal entries, accruals, and financial reporting

Review balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies

Oversee and supervise day-to-day finance operations and ensure smooth delivery

Support accounting, reporting, and tax-related initiatives across the finance function

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting standards, and company policies through proactive checks and validations

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to streamline processes and enhance efficiency.

Coordinate with Auditors and provide full support in managing all queries related to various audits from time-to-time basis.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and drive automation initiatives

Support and lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities

 

Key Skills and Knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills

In-depth knowledge of month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and balance sheet reconciliation

Expertise in accounting standards and compliance (GAAP/IFRS/Local GAAP/SOX)

Strong understanding of internal controls and compliance frameworks

Ability to analyze financial data and provide strategic insights

Proven capability to guide teams and solve complex financial challenges

Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

 

Education & Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.

Major accounting qualification such as CA/CMA/CS preferred experience

 

Experience Requirements

8+ years of progressive experience in accounting and finance

Minimum 3+ years of experience in people management

 

Technical Expertise

Hands-on experience with enterprise financial systems such as PeopleSoft, Essbase, or similar platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Strong understanding of finance policies, controls, and process frameworks
