Assistant Spa Manager- Six Senses Laamu

As an Assistant Spa Manager, I will fully comprehend the vision of Six Senses to help people reconnect with themselves, others and the world around them and our values of local sensitivity and global sensibility, crafted experiences, emotional hospitality, responsibility and caring, fun and quirky and pioneering wellness. Sustainability, Wellness, and Out of the Ordinary experiences are at the core of everything we do at Six Senses. I will safeguard these pillars and ensure full knowledge and active participation of all our brand initiatives. I will work strategically with the Director of Wellness to develop cohesive and productive goals for my department and establish procedures/guidelines to achieve them.  I will maintain an overall consistency of the Company’s vision, quality/standards and develop concepts consistent with brand identity.

Duties and Responsibilities
As Assistant Spa Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient operation in the following:

• Keeping abreast of industry trends and practices and updating knowledge and skills to improve the product and service offering.
• Continually focus on the rejuvenation of the spa experience.
• Spa treatments, exercise classes, and wellness facilities and equipment will be constantly assessed to remain relevant and in keeping with Six Senses wellness and sustainability practices.
• Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
• Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.

Qualifications
To execute the position of an Assistant Spa Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills, and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results including the following: 

• Bachelor's degree in naturopathy or Ayurveda, knowledge of anatomy and physiology, massage therapy, and beauty therapy at either NVQ, ITEC, or CIDESCO.
• At least 3 years’ experience in similar luxury spas and health clubs with proven references. 
• Strong background in fitness and experience with Six Senses as an Integrated Wellness Practitioner is a plus.
• Ability to drive spa revenue through Sales & Marketing strategies, Creative and effective communicator. 
• Positive role model and people developer.
• Service-oriented with an eye for details, Self-motivated and energetic.
• Fluent in English; I understand that additional languages are preferred.
