We are seeking an enthusiastic and service-driven Assistant Learning & Quality Manager to support our hotel’s training and quality assurance efforts. This role is responsible for delivering engaging learning experiences, ensuring compliance with IHG brand and service standards, and supporting continuous improvement across all departments. The ideal candidate will be passionate about colleague development, quality enhancement, and guest satisfaction.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Supporting the execution of the hotel’s Learning & Development strategy in line with IHG Brand and Service Hallmarks.
  • Conducting impactful onboarding, brand, and service training programs for colleagues at all levels.
  • Monitoring training effectiveness and ensuring learning outcomes align with operational needs.
  • Assisting in maintaining IHG quality and brand standards through audits, inspections, and action planning.
  • Collaborating with department heads to identify training needs and development plans.
  • Driving colleague engagement and service culture through IHG tools such as HeartBeat, Colleague Experience surveys, and Winning Metrics.
  • Ensuring compliance with IHG and local regulatory training requirements.

What do we need from you?

  • Degree or diploma in Human Resources, Training, or Hospitality Management.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a similar training or quality role in hospitality.
  • Knowledge of IHG training systems, brand standards, and quality tools preferred.
  • Strong facilitation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent English communication; additional languages are a plus.
  • Proactive, creative, and passionate about learning and service excellence.
