You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests.
Responsible for staff scheduling and payroll cost to ensure adequate coverage according to established practices and maximize on labour potential; plans work assignments based on room occupancy forecast, Event orders and VIP list. Adjust schedules to meet emergencies, coordinates with other managers regarding emergency staffing.
Maintains proper records of sales, guest complaints, solutions and all concerns pertaining to personnel or equipment in appropriate logbooks for reference.
Maintains established par stock for operating supplies to ensure smooth operation.
Make frequent suggestions to Management in reference to improvement of general operation, F&B promotions, cost control and profitability.
Establishes control procedures for reconciliation of cashiering before and after service as well as all inventory for liquor / spirit / beer / wine / food products.
Executes the general responsibility necessary to minimize costs in operating the restaurant and achieving sales goals.
Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for providing a vibrant environment for our guests to ‘kick back’ in and chill out with their dining experience, leading your team to success.
Oversees all Beverage operations and Menus in the outlet; service standards in the venue Ensures that the teams conform to the required standards and meet or exceed guest’s expectation by supervising the daily operations of the bar areas, (order and maintain supplies, review set-up and beverage preparation and service etc.) to ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations and procedures and to ensure an optimal level of service, quality and hospitality are well maintained.
Completes daily outlet inspections; checks overall bar/restaurant appearance, the repair of its fixtures, fittings and operating equipment, initiates maintenance request as necessary by monitoring, maintaining and sanitizing the bar areas and equipment to protect the assets and ensure quality service.
Participates in the planning of all F&B Menus. Control the cost with all expenses and also checks the accuracy of par stocks.
Responsible for holding daily briefings and monthly communication meetings to discuss various aspects of bar service and preparation with employees by supervising and directing the bar teams including assistant manager, supervisors, bartenders and baristas on a daily basis.
Meet with the guests to ensure the quality/service of drinks, and to review any changes, issues and/or problems to ensure delivery of a quality product. Attends to guest complaints, requests or inquiries regarding bar and guest services and immediately takes all required corrective measures and guarantee smooth operations.
Interviews and recommends hiring, scheduling, training, developing, empowering, coaching and counseling, resolving problems, and provide open communication.
Be familiar with changes and trends in the competition and the market place.
Implements and enforces safety regulations and house rules.
Understands that there are daily / weekly / monthly reports, presentations and targets to hit.
To meet up with suppliers and key industry stakeholders to ensure to elevate the program with an objective to becoming one of the best bars in town and receive deserving accolades to support this cause.
It’s a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we can. We would love it if you were multi-lingual, but it’s not essential.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with confidence in engaging diverse and high-profile guests.
Strong attention to detail, ensuring consistency in service quality, presentation, and ambiance.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume nightlife environment, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
Knowledge of health, safety, and responsible alcohol service standards, ensuring full compliance.
