A little about your day to day

 

Assist servers and bartenders in cultivating memorable food & beverage for our guests.

 

Every day is different but mostly you'll be

 

Assist Banquet servers in providing quality food and beverage service to guests; maintain cleanliness of tables, service areas and equipment; stock all wares and equipment needed for service and provide service of coffee breaks and continental breakfasts in accordance with hotel standards and established InterContinental policies and procedures.

 

Assist Bartenders and Cocktail Servers; stock bars with designated supplies, ensuring no shortages for guest service; and maintain cleanliness of work areas and equipment, in accordance with hotel standards and established InterContinental policies and procedures.

 

What we need from you

 

  • A minimum of one year experience in the same or similar role in an upscale or fine dining establishment.  

  • The strength to lift, push and pull big objects up to 50lbs (23 kg) which can also involve bending and kneeling 

  • A good grasp of reading, writing and basic math

  • Compliance with local laws on food handling 

  • Great communication – you’ll be warm, welcoming, and easy to talk to 

 

What we offer

The hourly pay range for this role is $19.61 to $23.61.
