Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of dishes in the assigned section according to recipes and standards.
  • Ensure all mise en place is prepared, labeled, and stored correctly for daily operations.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation at all times.
  • Follow hygiene, safety, and sanitation standards (HACCP & food handling guidelines).
  • Check the freshness and quality of ingredients before use.
  • Follow portion-control guidelines to reduce waste and support cost efficiency.
  • Assist in receiving and storing deliveries properly.
  • Coordinate effectively with other team members to ensure smooth service.
  • Support the Chef de Partie with tasks during peak hours and special events.
  • Report any issues with equipment, food quality, or safety to the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef.
  • Participate in trainings to develop culinary skills and knowledge.
