Concierge

As the Concierge at Kimpton Tsim Sha Tsui Hong Kong, you will take ownership of delivering exceptional first impressions – providing personalized recommendations for exploring the city, sharing firsthand information on the latest activities and dining options in town. 

A little taste of your day-to-day 

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be: 

• Delivering a bespoke staying experience based on Kimpton Guest Journey, recognizing guests as unique individuals  
• Assisting the Chief Concierge to oversee the daily operation, including Concierge team, Bell team and Valet team, strive for service excellence and build relationships to drive for guest satisfaction
• Connecting with the community for building a distinctive Kimpton identity to create memorable guest experiences by meeting their individual preferences and personal needs
• Maintaining detailed knowledge of key occurrences in the community, including directions to key points of interest, restaurants, events, recreational facilities and special events  
•  Engaging with guests to answer all inquiries in connection with hotel services and facilities, transportation and sightseeing recommendations and neighbourhood happenings with friendliness and professionalism
• Managing outgoing guest mail, courier services, postage of parcels and freighting as directed by guest  
• Providing supervision and on-the-job training to new colleagues
• Identifying and addressing training and development needs for the team

What we need from you 

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in a hotel front office or guest service operation; with at least 1 year in a supervisory role
• A higher diploma in hotel management or equivalent 
• Proactive, agile, creative, charming and joyful   
• Great team player with strong service mindset and interpersonal skills
• Strong knowledge of the local lifestyle community, including dining, entertainment and attractions  
• Experience in using Opera, Microsoft Office Suite, Quore, JDS
• Excellent communication skills in both English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin) are essential, both spoken and written; knowledge of other languages is a plus
• Candidate with less experience will be considered as Assistant Concierge
