We have an opportunity for an innovative and passionate Consumer Insights Manager to join our Global Insights team, based in our Windsor HQ. Working alongside the Director of Consumer Insights, this is your opportunity to lead strategic market research initiatives and oversee our Brand Health tracking programme on a global scale.
In this role, you’ll take the lead on bespoke research projects that bring the voice of the customer into key decision-making conversations. You’ll collaborate across the business and work closely with our agency partners to deliver powerful, data-driven insights that inform strategy, inspire innovation, and shape the guest experience at IHG.

What You’ll Do
- Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, partnering with brand strategy, marketing, and loyalty teams to broaden consumer understanding.
- Lead end-to-end qualitative and quantitative research projects to answer global business questions.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of IHG’s Brand Health Tracking programme, ensuring consistency and insight delivery.
- Oversee relationships with third-party research agencies, managing methodology, fieldwork, analysis, and reporting.
- Translate data and research findings into clear, actionable insights and compelling presentations that drive meaningful outcomes.
- Build on information from multiple sources into compelling, story-led recommendations.
- Collaborate with teams across the business to support the activation of insights and continuous learning.
- Help enhance the visibility, impact, and ways of working of the Consumer Insights function.
What We’re Looking For
- Significant experience in consumer insights or market research (agency or client side).
- Experience working on global research programmes and managing continuous tracking initiatives
- Strong expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies across markets.
- Proven project management capabilities to deliver large-scale initiatives from design to execution.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell clear, concise, and compelling insight stories.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distil complexity into impactful recommendations.
- Confident presenting to and engaging with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- A collaborative mindset and relationship-building skills to work effectively across teams.
- A self-starter attitude with the ability to work independently and consultatively in a fast-paced environment, and able to proactively come up with suggestions and ideas to elevate the work
