You will be responsible for analyzing and controlling all resort operational costs, ensuring that cost controls are in place and effectively maintained. You need to work closely with the purchasing, kitchen, and operations teams to monitor stock, minimize waste, and ensure financial accountability.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you'll mostly be:
- Monitor and control food, beverage, and other inventory costs across all departments
- Perform regular stock counts and verify stock reports from departments
- Assist in setting up cost control systems and procedures to optimize spending
- Analyze daily and monthly food and beverage costs and identify variances from budgets
- Prepare and analyze cost-related reports
What We need from you:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field
- Proven experience in cost control, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong analytical and numerical skills
- Ability to deal with difficult interactions and work under pressure
- A focused individual with passion, personality, individuality, integrity, creativity and drive for continuous improvement
