But could you be the one ensuring effective cost management and financial control across our hotel operations? We’re searching for a Cost Controller to support our Finance team in monitoring costs, maintaining inventory accuracy, and contributing to the overall financial performance of Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Monitoring and controlling food, beverage, and operational costs to ensure efficient financial performance across hotel departments
● Conducting daily and monthly inventory checks of food, beverage, operating supplies, and other stock items to maintain inventory accuracy
● Reviewing purchases, receiving records, transfers, and consumption reports to identify variances and support cost control measures
● Coordinating closely with Finance, Purchasing, Culinary, Food & Beverage, and Stores teams to ensure accurate stock management and operational compliance
● Preparing cost reports, analysis, and financial summaries to support budgeting and decision-making processes
● Assisting in maintaining standard recipes, portion controls, and pricing structures to support profitability objectives
● Monitoring wastage, spoilage, and operational discrepancies while recommending corrective actions where required
● Ensuring compliance with hotel financial policies, inventory procedures, audit requirements, and internal control standards

What We need from you:

● Bachelor’s degree or higher education qualification in Finance, Accounting, Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred
● Minimum 3–5 years of cost control, inventory, or finance experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
● Strong understanding of food & beverage costing, inventory management, and financial reporting processes
● Excellent analytical, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills
● Good communication and coordination abilities with operational and finance teams
● Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, inventory systems, and hotel finance software preferred
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
