This is an Executive Committee (ExCom) role and reports directly to the General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

As Country Wellness Manager, I will assume full responsibility for the efficient and effective implementation of the wellness across all five Six Senses Bhutan lodges, especially on the offerings in the Spa, Wellness and Fitness facilities; collaborating closely with HODs to deliver an exceptional guest experience aligned with brand standards.

  • Keep up to date with global wellness trends and practices, continually upgrading offerings to maintain relevance and innovation.
  • Lead the ongoing rejuvenation of the wellness experience, including Spa treatments, Biohacking, Visiting Practitioners, retreats, fitness facilities, and exercise programming.
  • Ensure all offerings reflect the Six Senses approach to integrated wellness, sustainability, and local cultural alignment.
  • Monitor and manage the wellness departmental budget, focusing on cost control and profitability while preserving product and service quality.
  • Develop and execute annual marketing plans in collaboration with Sales and Marketing, covering PR, CRM, sales initiatives, and treatment promotions.
  • Conduct workshops, lectures, and knowledge-sharing sessions for both hosts and guests on key health and wellness topics.
  • Foster strong interdepartmental collaboration, ensuring wellness touchpoints are integrated across the guest journey and operational departments.
  • Enhance and harmonize spa and wellness programming across all lodges, ensuring consistency with local adaptation.

Qualifications

To execute the position of Country Wellness Manager, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

  • A bachelor’s degree in Wellness, Hotel Management, or a closely related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a wellness leadership role within luxury hospitality, with a proven track record of delivering impactful wellness programs and operational excellence.
  • Strong technical knowledge in spa operations, fitness programming, and holistic wellness practices.
  • Business acumen, including budget management, team productivity monitoring, and marketing strategy.
  • Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
