Holiday Inn Express Pokhara is a modern, internationally branded hotel located near Lakeside Road, close to Pokhara’s key tourist and commercial areas. The hotel offers 90 comfortable guest rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, bar & lounge, lobby lounge, a 213 sqm meeting and events space, and a fitness centre.

Takes lead in setting up the offerings at the property in consultation with the executive sous chef. Preparing dishes and ensuring the smooth operation of all Food & Beverage preparation operations including the kitchen and stewarding, etc., and ensuring all Food & Beverage preparation and service delivery is carried out according to established standards and procedures.

A little taste of your day-to-day:

  • Make necessary business decisions to ensure efficient running of the bakery and proper handling of service issues as they arise in pastry/bakery area.
  • Coordinate the tasks and operations of the Kitchen and Stewarding Department.
  • Use various financial management to analyze performance results to identify profitability shortfalls or opportunities to increase revenues, reduce costs, improve overall profitability and meet budget goals. 
  • Provide ongoing communication to all areas under your supervision regarding policies, programs and procedures.
  • Monitor the preparation of, and inspect, dishes to ensure they are expedited according to established standards and procedures.

 

What We need from you:

  • In depth knowledge of bakery and pastry arts and recipes
  • Able to multi-task and prioritize tasks consistent with business objectives
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking
  • Minimum of 2-years of experience in the same position with a strong track record and a progressive career graph
