Role Purpose
Global responsibility for delivering revenue through IHG’s system by creating, curating and managing high quality relevant content for digital channels. Develop, deploy and manage web programs for both brand-specific and multi-brand audiences across all channels, ensuring a seamless experience to increase B2B Customer engagement and acquisition. Act as a brand guardian by ensuring that all IHG B2B and brands are reflected accurately and appropriately for digital audiences. Work with partners within Sales, B2B Marketing, Product, Vendor/Agency Partners and other key stakeholders to align programs and socialize and execute the content and digital strategies Become an expert on IHG’s B2B user groups, behaviors and personas to provide guidance to partner groups.
Key Accountabilities
- Champion relevant global projects with significant content needs, including new product roll-outs, websites, global B2B marketing programs and functional improvements designed to drive incremental room nights to IHG’s system.
- Work with user experience and analytics teams to launch new content and functionalities and measure results for continuous improvement.
- Support brand-specific and multi-brand channel/distribution marketing campaigns. Manage global site content. Ensure all plans are understood and effectively implemented through liaison with global and regional teams.
- Develop into a content Subject Matter Expert to provide consultation to other teams, as well as to represent the value that content provides to the business.
Key Skills & Experiences
Education-
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience.
Experience – 3 to 5 years practical experience in developing or planning content for digital channels within a consumer brand for a recognized multi-national company. Experience with visual, textual and multimedia content and content management systems strongly preferred. Travel/hospitality industry and B2B experience is a plus.
Required Skills –
- Demonstrated expertise in interactive marketing and understanding of marketing across touch points, digital and traditional. Understanding of brand consistency across media and content types.
- Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills for the purpose of providing information to clients, vendors, senior management and staff. Must be able to prepare and deliver solid presentations to small groups.
- Must possess superior problem-solving skills, attention to detail and demonstrated experience in managing multiple large scale projects simultaneously. Experience with Salesforce, Email Platforms, Omnichannel Platforms and/or HTML Coding is a plus.
