Because, for this vital role, were looking for someone who: - has Sense of hospitality - has prior work experience in hotel operational departments - has proven track record successful administration - has the ability to handle guest complains with a smile - has great interpersonal skills.

As Director of Events, you will be responsible for leading the strategic planning and flawless execution of all hotel events, ensuring every detail reflects our commitment to True Hospitality. You will inspire and develop a high-performing team while working collaboratively with Sales, Banquets, Culinary, and Operations to exceed guest expectations.

 

Your day to day 

 

  • Lead and oversee all event operations, including conferences, social events, and luxury celebrations
  • Drive exceptional guest satisfaction through personalized service and attention to detail
  • Inspire, coach, and develop the Events team in line with IHG leadership standards
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless planning and execution
  • Manage departmental budgets, forecasts, and performance metrics

 

What we need from you

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Director of Events in a 5-star hotel
  • Strong leadership presence with the ability to motivate and engage teams
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder-management skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple high-profile events with professionalism and grace
  • A passion for delivering luxury experiences and meaningful guest connections
