Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Director of Human Resources located at InterContinental Phuket Resort. The Director of Human Resources will oversee the planning, development, and implementation of HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the resort's goals. Key responsibilities include managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with labor laws, maintaining HR policies, overseeing performance management systems, and fostering a positive workplace culture. Collaboration with department heads and the leadership team to maintain operational excellence and align HR practices with business objectives will also be central to this role.
Qualifications
- Comprehensive knowledge of Human Resources (HR) principles, practices, and operational management
- Experience in developing, implementing, and managing effective HR Policies and procedures
- Strong expertise in Employee Relations and conflict resolution to foster a positive work environment
- Proficiency in Performance Management, including evaluation and development processes
- In-depth understanding of Labor and Employment Law to ensure regulatory compliance
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
- Experience in the hospitality or luxury service industry is an advantage
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced certification such as SHRM-CP or PHR is a plus
