Role Purpose:
Provide strategic financial leadership to drive performance, profitability, and operational excellence across all hotels in Thailand. Partner with Operations, Commercial, and Functional Leaders to ensure robust financial management, control, and compliance while supporting the achievement of Owner and IHG objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead hotel budget and forecast processes, including owner financial presentations and capital investment ROI analysis.
- Drive strategic performance in procurement and payroll productivity across managed and franchise hotels.
- Monitor hotel performance through benchmarking and analysis of key indicators to maximize returns.
- Collaborate with SEAK Finance Leadership Team to support business strategy and vision.
- Ensure compliance with IHG management and service contracts; resolve minor disputes in coordination with VP Finance.
- Support legal entity management and branch reporting with cross-functional teams.
- Lead strategic projects to enhance owner returns and fee income growth.
- Ensure compliance with IHG Hotel Accounting Policies and Internal Audit recommendations.
- Coach and develop hotel Finance Leaders to build a strong talent pipeline.
Key Metrics:
- CSA results and action plan implementation
- Debt collection (DSO, cash collection, write-offs)
- IHG OP performance vs. budget
- Hotel PGI, GOPPAR, UOE PAR vs. budget
- Forecast accuracy and procurement compliance
- System size and pipeline support
- WOT compliance
Collaborative Network:
- Internal: Development, Operations, Commercial, Finance, Investment Analysis, Insurance, BSC, Legal
- External: Hotel owners, advisors, legal counsels
Decision Rights:
- Owns divisional forecast and budget process, debt collection, and governance processes
- Influences capital spends decisions, financial performance tracking, and fee collection
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Business, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or capital projects
- 7–10 years of leadership experience managing teams or complex projects
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and strategic planning skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Essbase knowledge is a plus
