Your Mission

To define and lead the hotel's global commercial, sales, marketing, and events strategy – ensuring brand positioning, revenue maximization, and continued excellence in guest engagement and market visibility.

 

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

  • Managing daily sales activities and coaching your team to deliver to their full potential
  • Hitting all personal and team sales goals to help us maximise profitability
  • Creating and implementing sales plans that drive measurable incremental occupancy, increase average rates, increase volume, food and beverage and banquet sales  
  • Producing and reviewing monthly reports to monitor performance 
  • Leading marketing efforts to up-sell guests on hotel services, offerings, and amenities

 

Commercial Strategy & Business Development

 

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy, in line with the hotel’s positioning and long-term vision.
  • Define and manage sales objectives, aligning them with revenue and profitability goals.
  • Identify new markets and unlock growth opportunities across Corporate, Luxury Leisure, and MICE.
  • Oversee the entire sales Journey, ensuring commercial targets are met consistently.

 

Conferences & Events (C&E)

 

  • Design and implement an events strategy aligned with revenue goals and brand image.
  • Lead the events team,  planning, marketing, and execution of events with a focus on profitability and prestige.
  • Strong focus on Social Events following the strategy of opening the hotel to the local community
  • Negotiate with partners and sponsors to drive added value and visibility.
  • Maintain competitive intelligence to anticipate trends and tailor our event offering.

 

Marketing & Communication

 

  • Define the hotel’s marketing and PR strategy, ensuring alignment with commercial and brand objectives.
  • Oversee brand communication and campaigns to strengthen awareness and market positioning.
  • Collaborate with IHG PR and B rand Temas to enhance online visibility and lead generation.
  • Implement performance tracking tools to measure the effectiveness of all marketing and sales actions.

 

Performance & Team Leadership

 

  • Monitor and analyze key sales indicators to fine-tune strategies and drive performance.
  • Ensure optimal management of commercial and marketing budgets.
  • Lead, inspire and develop the Sales, Groups & Marketing teams, cultivating a culture of collaboration, excellence, and growth.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with high-value clients, strategic partners, and key suppliers.

 

 

What we need from you

 

  • Bachelor’s degree / higher education qualification / equivalent in marketing or related field  
  • Four or more years of experience in a hospitality or hotel sales and marketing setting with direct supervisory experience over a sales team
  • Strong knowledge of local businesses and business trends required  
  • Must speak local language(s)  
  • Other languages preferred
