Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans aligned with hotel goals and market dynamics.
- Analyze performance trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities for growth.
- Partner with the Director of Sales & Marketing to set KPIs and revenue targets for each market segment.
- Lead weekly sales strategy meetings, contributing insights on rate, volume, and market mix.
- Lead and mentor the Sales Team across Corporate, Leisure, Group, MICE, and Event segments.
- Conduct performance evaluations, training, and coaching to support team development and goal achievement.
- Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability within the sales team.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both domestic and international markets.
- Manage relationships with key accounts, travel partners, DMCs, and corporate clients, ensuring client satisfaction and loyalty.
- Represent the hotel at trade shows, roadshows, sales missions, and networking events to strengthen the hotel’s market presence.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to optimize pricing strategies and group business mix.
- Monitor sales performance and produce accurate forecasts, pipelines, and activity reports.
- Ensure sales efforts are focused on high-value business aligned with the hotel's positioning and profitability goals.
- Partner with Marketing, Events, Reservations, and Operations to deliver consistent guest experiences and align messaging.
- Maintain open communication with IHG regional and global sales teams to maximize brand support and reach.
- Ensure adherence to IHG sales systems, standards, and reporting requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in hotel sales, with at least 2 years in a senior sales leadership role, preferably in the luxury segment.
- Proven track record in driving revenue, team leadership, and managing key accounts.
- Strong understanding of luxury travel trends, global distribution, and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
- Proficiency in IHG systems (Opera, Delphi, IHG Concerto) is an advantage.
