Holiday Inn Werribee is situated in the heart of the Werribee city centre, as a new concept Holiday Inn it is the talk of the town for Werribee and surrounds. The hotel occupies the top four floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs, Wyndham Harbour and Melbourne skyline. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar, versatile conference and event spaces as well as on site multi-level carpark.
A little taste of your day to day
- Relationships with key business partners, corporate contacts to continue to produce accommodation stays, group and/or convention business, to include room sales, food & beverage sales, and catering/banquet services.
- You will lead a highly engaged and capable team therefore significant leadership, motivational and empowerment expertise is required along with the ability to engage across a variety of customer dynamics.
- Develop and implement sales and marketing initiatives and support revenue directives for the hotel to maximise the room-, food and beverage-, MICE and ensure the Commercial goals are exceeded.
- Ensure sales, marketing and revenue strategies are set, tactical plans are created and implemented, and results are monitored and achieved.
- Advise the revenue team to the best strategy to stay ahead of pace and capture all opportunities that present in the marketplace.
- Collaborate with local business and organisations, being a pillar in the community and backing local events and clubs.
- Apply business development skills to engage new lines of business and potential partners across the local region.
- Engage with the IHG Commercial team to continue the strategies and achieve the companies commercial targets.
What we need from you
- Mandatory eligibility requirement to have Full Australian Working Rights
- Minimum 3 years’ sales and marketing experience, preferably with 1 year in a multi-unit capacity with direct supervisory experience over a sales team, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
- Keeps abreast of changes and assesses trends in consumer buying behaviour to create strategies that drive business opportunities.
- Strategic and tactical thinker – ability to develop strategic Sales plans, establish goals and objectives, set performance targets and deliver projects on time.
- Forecast revenue monthly and assist in future budgeting for the hotel.
- Proactive approach to developing and maintaining strong relations with stakeholders.
- Strong Leadership skills in managing a team to drive for results.
