About the hotel

Corporate travelers arriving at the Nashville International Airport (BNA) are just 12 miles from our hotel. We offer Free Internet, a 24-hour Business Center and flexible meeting spaces to accommodate business needs for individuals and groups. We provide free shuttle service within three miles of hotel, including the Music City Center, downtown Nashville and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital.

This modern and cozy facility is just minutes away from major shopping, dining and entertainment districts. Our location puts you near Vanderbilt University and is walking distance of Dudley Field, Centennial Park and the famed Parthenon. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Respond to all guest requests for shuttle service in a prompt and courteous manner; assist guests with luggage while boarding and offloading the vehicle.

· Operate vehicle in accordance with state laws; observe all airport rules pertaining to shuttle vehicles.

· Explain and promote hotel facilities, outlets and services to guest and provide information to guests regarding local attractions and activities.

· Perform daily inspection of vehicles; takes necessary action to correct deficiencies or unsafe conditions; keep vehicle clean and neat at all times.

· Respond to guest requests and complaints, in a prompt and professional manner. Inform supervisor of major problems, complaints, disturbances or dissatisfied guests.

· Promote team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments.

· May regularly inspect and clear hotel entrance and surrounding areas of litter and debris.

· May assist with other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

High School diploma or equivalent, and one year guest service or driver experience preferred. Must speak fluent English. Other languages preferred. Valid driver’s license required.

This job requires ability to perform the following:

· Carrying, pushing, or lifting items weighing up to 100 pounds

· Driving to and from guest destinations

· Handling objects such as luggage

· Bending, stooping, kneeling

 Other:

· Communication skills are utilized a significant amount of time when interacting with clients, guests and employees.

· Reading and writing abilities are utilized often when completing departmental records/logs, reading road signs, etc..

The hourly pay rate for this role is $16.00. This rate is only applicable for jobs to be performed in Nashville, TN. This is the starting rate we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. We may pay more or less than the posted rate, and the rate may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the pay range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs.
