About the Executive Sous Chef position
The Executive Sous Chef will be second in leadership reporting to the Executive Chef.
A little taste of your day-to-day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Making every single meal a feast for the eyes and treat for the tastebuds
Directing daily kitchen activities as well as coaching and developing a team
Assist with hiring, training, and performance management
Supporting the Executive Chef plan events, manage staff and labor, inventory and food safety in the kitchen
Encouraging and addressing guest feedback
Coordinate with Sales, Catering, and Event Teams
Ensure banquet production timelines are met
Working closely with the Executive Chef to forecast and plan
Support menu development and recipe standardization
What we need from you
Degree or certificate in Culinary Arts
4 years’ experience as a chef
At least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, or equivalent combination of education and culinary/kitchen operations experience
Flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays

The salary range for this role is $67,000 to $87,000. This job is also eligible for bonus pay.
