What’s the job? 

We are currently seeking Part-Time or Casual Food & Beverage Attendant / Bar Attendant to join our team at Crowne Plaza Melbourne. Support the Food & Beverage team by setting up outlets, preparing equipment, and delivering memorable guest experiences. As a friendly host and brand ambassador, you will prepare and serve drinks and food with care, ensuring every guest enjoys a warm and relaxing visit at Crowne Plaza Melbourne.

Your day to day

  • Deliver exceptional guest service by welcoming guests warmly, preparing and serving drinks to high standards, managing transactions, supporting restaurant and room service operations, and maintaining a clean, well-organized bar environment.
  • Support daily F&B operations by setting up outlets, restocking and managing inventory, changing beer barrels, maintaining hygienic standards, preparing mise en place, handling equipment and glassware, and assisting with buffet and table setups.
  • Work collaboratively and safely by following all safety procedures, communicating effectively with colleagues, assisting with ad-hoc duties when needed, and participating in briefings and training sessions while being adaptable to night, weekend, and holiday shifts.

What we need from you

  • Demonstrated ability to interact with customers, employees and third parties that reflects highly on the hotel, the brand and the Company.
  • Problem solving, reasoning, motivating, organizational and training abilities.
  • Good Communication and writing skills
  • Mandatory certifications: Valid VIC Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA).
