The hotel occupies the top four floors of the mixed use 12 storey premises and boasts sweeping views right across to the You Yangs and Wyndham Harbour. The hotel offers 150 stylishly appointed guest rooms and suites, gym, outdoor garden courtyard, all day dining in our Rosana Bistro & Bar and large versatile conference and events spaces.
Your day to day
- Check in and check out guests providing a seamless true hospitality experience
- Responding promptly to guest requests and enquiries
- Inputting and updating guest reservation profiles
- Recognise and welcome back IHG members and encourage new guests to enroll for IHG One Rewards Loyalty program
- Suggestive selling for guest accommodation rooms and utilising in house food & beverage offerings
- Understanding hotel facilities, including room configuration and food & beverage operating hours
When working Night Auditor shift you'll be responsible coordinating and overseeing all hotel operations during the hours of 11pm to 7am with the Night Manager on duty.
Your principal responsibility is safety and security of guests and ensuring the accurate and timely completion of the night audit function.
Preparing daily reporting for hotel management, assist in reservations, room service orders and tend to any guest needs which in turn ensures they have a relaxing evening.
What we need from you
- Experience in a front office role within a hotel environment is highly desirable
- Competency using property management and point of sale systems, Opera, Hotel Key and Infosys and Hub Os experience is highly desirable
- Commitment and available to work a rotational roster, shifts will include early mornings, late evenings, overnights, weekends and public holidays
- A positive and energetic attitude with a "can do" approach meaning you're happy to roll up your sleeves and help everyone out to deliver our guests with a memorable stay
- A genuine want to be part of a highly motivated team who work together to flex in changing situations
- Ability to be self-motivated and a self-starter that can take the lead problem handling situations
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Valid Australian working rights (sponsorship not available)
