Guest Experience
•Act as a brand ambassador, engaging with guests and demonstrating expert knowledge of coffee origins, blends, and preparation methods.
•Proactively handle guest feedback and resolve service issues with professionalism and discretion.
•Collaborate with the Food & Beverage team to elevate the overall guest journey.
•Operations
•Oversee daily coffee and beverage operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, presentation, and service.
•Develop and maintain specialty coffee menus, including seasonal and signature offerings aligned with the hotel’s luxury positioning.
•Ensure proper calibration, maintenance, and cleanliness of all coffee equipment.
•Maintain consistency in recipes, brewing methods, and service execution across all shifts.
•Uphold all health, safety, and hygiene standards in compliance with local regulations and IHG policies.
Quality & Standards
•Lead, train, and inspire the barista team to deliver personalized, memorable guest experiences.
•Conduct regular training on coffee knowledge, brewing techniques, service etiquette, and upselling.
•Schedule staff efficiently based on business levels and operational needs.
•Provide performance feedback, coaching, and support team development and retention.
Collaboration & Communication
•Work closely with Culinary, Pastry, and F&B leadership to create cohesive pairings and experiences.
•Stay current with global coffee trends and introduce innovative concepts suitable for a luxury hotel environment.
