The Role

This is not a conventional technology leadership position.

The Head of Strategic AI Solutions Delivery will architect and lead one of the most forward-looking delivery organizations in global hospitality — a team built from the ground up to operate at the intersection of human expertise and AI agents. From day one, you will establish and lead a Human + Agent team: engineers, architects, and AI agents working as a unified delivery force, not as separate tracks. This is a deliberate design choice, not an aspiration.

 

You will define what it means to deliver AI at enterprise scale — where speed, precision, and strategic impact are non-negotiable.

 

 

Your Operating Model — Built Different

Forward Deployed Engineering, Hospitality-Style

Inspired by the Forward Deployed Engineering model pioneered in frontier tech, you will embed dedicated AI SWAT teams directly alongside domain engineering organizations — working hand-in-hand with the teams who own guest experience, loyalty, revenue management, and corporate operations. No ticket queues. No handoffs. Embedded, trusted, and moving at the speed of the business.

 

The Swarm Model

Your team will operate as a fluid, self-organizing swarm — not a fixed org chart. Resources and talent rally dynamically around the highest-priority strategic initiatives, then reorganize as business needs shift. This is intentional organizational design for an AI-native era, where the bottleneck is never headcount — it's focus.

 

What You'll Drive

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive AI solution delivery strategy aligned to enterprise transformation priorities — spanning guest services, loyalty, revenue optimization, and global operations.

  • Lead and grow a multi-disciplinary Human + Agent team of AI engineers, solution architects, and data scientists. Build for velocity, curiosity, and continuous elevation of craft.

  • Serve as the senior technical authority on AI solution design — ensuring every solution is production-grade, scalable, secure, and architecturally sound within a complex global technology ecosystem.

  • Own the full delivery lifecycle: from strategic ideation and rapid prototyping to production deployment and continuous optimization — using agile and adaptive methodologies suited to an agentic delivery environment.

  • Embed Forward Deployed Engineering teams within key business domains, closing the gap between AI capability and business adoption faster than any traditional model allows. 

  • Operate the swarm model in practice — dynamically allocating team capacity to the most strategically critical initiatives, with governance that keeps the organization laser-focused and never spread thin.

  • Build and sustain executive-level relationships across global business functions, translating AI possibilities into business commitment.

  • Stay at the frontier — continuously evaluating emerging AI platforms, architectures, and delivery methodologies. Keep the organization ahead, not catching up.

 

 

What We're Looking For

  • Foundation Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS, or a related field — or equivalent experience that demonstrates the same depth.

  • Senior Leadership at Scale 12+ years of progressive experience, including 7+ years leading managers and multi-disciplinary technology teams. You've built organizations, not just managed them. Director level or above, with a track record of scaling engineering and AI delivery functions.

  • AI Delivery — Proven, Not Theoretical You have shipped large-scale, complex AI and ML solutions that generated measurable business value. Deep fluency in LLMs, generative AI, agentic architectures, deep learning, and traditional ML. You understand the full stack — from model to production to monitoring.

  • Human + Agent Leadership You think about team design differently. You have experience — or a clear, credible vision — for integrating AI agents as active delivery participants alongside human engineers. You're not managing AI tools. You're leading a new kind of team.

  • Forward Deployed Engineering Mindset You've operated in or have strong conviction around embedded delivery models — where your team doesn't sit behind a service desk but alongside the business, co-owning outcomes. You know how to earn trust in a domain you didn't come from.

  • Swarm Operating Model Fluency You understand fluid resource models. You've navigated the tension between organizational stability and dynamic prioritization — and you've built governance structures that make fluidity feel like a feature, not a bug.

  • Technical Architecture Depth Broad fluency across solution and systems architecture, microservices, cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure), data infrastructure, security& data privacy, LLM FinOps and AIOps practices. Strong preference for experience with the Google Gemini ecosystem.

  • Strategic and Commercial Acumen: You see business opportunities before others do. You can translate AI capability into ROI narratives that resonate in the boardroom and the business unit simultaneously.

  • Global Delivery Experience Comfortable operating across geographies, time zones, and organizational cultures. Experience with offshore and hybrid global delivery models.

Location – Atlanta, GA preferred. Our hybrid work structure is an expectation of three (3) days a week in office. This expectation may be adjusted to evolve with the changing needs of the business.

 

The salary range for this role is $211,000 to $304,000.  This role is also eligible for bonus pay (as applicable). We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K, and other benefits to employees.
