About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Hotel Manager to join the leadership team at Crowne Plaza Resort Petra as we prepare for its highly anticipated reopening.
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Hotel Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational departments, ensuring brand compliance, driving commercial performance, and maintaining the highest levels of guest satisfaction and colleague engagement.
This is a unique opportunity to play a leading role in bringing back to life one of Jordan’s most historic hospitality landmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in all aspects of hotel operations and strategic decision-making.
- Lead daily operations across Rooms, Food & Beverage, Engineering, and Front of House departments.
- Drive service excellence and ensure the highest guest satisfaction scores.
- Implement IHG brand standards, policies, and operational procedures.
- Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost control initiatives to achieve financial targets.
- Develop and coach Department Heads and teams to ensure high performance and succession readiness.
- Collaborate with owners, cluster leaders, and area support functions to achieve business goals.
- Contribute actively to the pre-opening phase, including recruitment, training, and operational readiness.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of progressive hotel operations experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role (EAM, Resident Manager, or similar).
- Proven track record in resort or leisure destination operations; opening or rebranding experience is a strong advantage.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills with the ability to inspire large teams.
- Excellent understanding of financial management, budgets, and performance metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field.
- Previous experience with IHG or another leading international hotel brand preferred.
- Fluent in English; Arabic is an asset.
