Duties and Responsibilities  

As Runner Attendant ,I will perform the following relevant tasks for this role:

•    Responsible for collecting soiled linen and replacing areas with processed linen.
•    Ensure par level of linen is monitored daily. 
•    Collect required stock supplies for shift. 
•    Support Room Attendant if needed
•    Ensure all supplies and cleaning equipment are in good working condition and stored in proper locations. 
•    Ensure that guest requests for additional linen are delivered promptly. 
•    Return any lost and found items to the Laundry Supervisor and complete required forms. 
•    Report equipment failure, damage to furnishings or missing items to Supervisor. 
•    Handle guest requests and immediately refer issues and feedback to Supervisor. 
•    Provide assistance to guests in all resort emergency evacuation and medical procedures. 
•    Maintain a high standard of hygiene and sanitation throughout all areas. 
•    Behave in an ecology friendly manner, help to reduce the amount of energy and cleaning supplies. 
•    Attend meetings and training as required by supervisors.
•    Upkeep Six Senses guidelines and standards of service and operation. My performance benchmarks are maintained and exceeded.
•    Strictly adhere to LQA standards and guest comments.
•    Perform any additional tasks given to me by supervisor/management.

 

Qualifications

To execute the position of Runner Attendant, I must have the required qualifications, technical skills and experience in a similar role in luxury hotels with proven results and includes the following:

High school diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar hotel operational setting. Hospitality diploma/degree from a recognized hospitality school is preferred.

Technical skills include MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. I am also familiar with various hotel systems including POS and PMS platforms. I have good knowledge of laundry operations, washing and cleaning procedures.  

Fluent in English and/or French

EU passport or valid Swiss work authorization required
