You’ll be working with a friendly, motivated team who you will recruit and lead with your distinctive style and work with them to develop their full potential and ensure everyone provides genuine heartfelt care to our guests.

 

Regarding the role, it’s as the job title says really, you are responsible for keeping our ‘house’ clean and tidy. You are responsibility for the whole team that ensure the ultimate comfort for our guests.

 

You will need to use your great communication skills and build strong relationships with the other teams to ensure our guests stay is seamless and effortless.

 

Your day-to-day: Other duties may be assigned as needed.

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

 

  • Inspect all guest rooms, including vacant, arrival-ready, and occupied rooms, to ensure they meet the hotel's highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, and functionality before releasing them for sale or continued in-house guest use.

  • To check all the guest rooms, VIP in-house, VIP arrival and long staying guests.

  • To prepare and issue room status report to room attendant.

  • To report and follow up on repair and maintenance.

  • To document all daily activities and events such as guest complaints in the logbook.

  • To attend to guest requests and complaints. Takes corrective action.

  • To assist in the inventory of guestroom linen.

  • Sees adequate storage of supplies inventory on assigned floors to safeguard against shortage or loss.

  • Prepares supervisor’s report, accomplishes requisition from and maintenance work orders.

  • Collects, check room attendant’s reports and keys for submission to coordinator. 

  • Reports and hands over any items left by guests to Lost & Found in-charge.

  • Maintains high standards of cleanliness of all guest and service elevators.

  • Maintain and daily check on room attendant pantry and trolley cleanliness and defects

  • To check on the standard of "Turn down services" and ensure team follow to the turndown process

  • To liaise closely with Front Office regarding guestroom status

  • To liaise with Front Office regarding VIP arrival, group arrival

  • To report for duty punctually, wearing the correct uniform and name badge at all times.

  • To always provide a courteous and professional service to guest

  • To have a complete understanding of and adhere to the hotel's policy relating to fire, hygiene, health and safety.

  • To report on adverse guest comment as and when required.

  • To report and record stain,lost and damaged items in the logbook and to manager on duty

  • To log daily events in the logbook/hand over and follow up on previous information reported by outgoing supervisor daily.

  • To prepare duty rosters of room attendants.

  • To replenish guest supplies and cleaning requirements weekly.

  • To make requisition of chemicals supplies.

 

Its a physical role and although there are the usual meetings, briefings and of course emails to check, you will be on your feet most of the day out and about chatting with your guests and your team, so fitness will be key for you, although reasonable adjustments will be made where we canWe would love it if you were multi-lingual, but its not essential.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

 

Diploma or certificate in hospitality management or a related field is preferred.

 

Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a housekeeping role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory position within a luxury hotel or resort.

 

Proficiency in hotel systems, including Property Management Systems (PMS) and housekeeping software (e.g., Opera, HotSOS, Knowcross).
