Key Responsibilities 1. Operational Leadership
  • Supervise, assign, and inspect daily work of housekeeping attendants.
  • Ensure guest rooms, corridors, public areas, and back-of-house spaces meet brand cleanliness and appearance standards.
  • Monitor room readiness and communicate status to Front Office.
  • Conduct periodic inspections and take corrective action where needed.
2. Team Support & Supervision
  • Coach, train, and develop housekeeping attendants on procedures and service standards.
  • Provide clear directions and daily task assignments during briefings.
  • Support team performance, address attendance and conduct issues professionally.
  • Lead by example in guest interaction, cleanliness, and safety protocols.
3. Quality & Standards
  • Maintain consistent delivery of Express Housekeeping standards — clean, simple, and efficient.
  • Ensure proper use of cleaning supplies, tools, and equipment.
  • Report maintenance issues promptly to Engineering.
  • Uphold hotel brand standards regarding room appearance, amenities placement, linen presentation, and lost & found procedures.
4. Guest Service
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and complaints.
  • Ensure special requests (late check-outs, extra amenities, deep cleans) are actioned accurately.
  • Promote a warm and helpful environment with attention to guest comfort.
5. Health, Safety & Compliance
  • Enforce proper handling and storage of chemicals and cleaning supplies.
  • Ensure team adheres to safety and security policies (e.g., locked carts, guest privacy).
  • Participate in emergency response and evacuation procedures as required.
  • Maintain housekeeping carts, storage area organization, and inventory control.
6. Administrative Duties
  • Record daily cleaning activities, lost & found items, and report unusual incidents.
  • Assist in inventory management of linen, amenities, and housekeeping supplies.
  • Support scheduling and staffing adjustments in coordination with the Executive Housekeeper.
