We are seeking a motivated, hands-on, and detail-driven Housekeeping Team Leader to join the Rooms Division at InterContinental Residences Dubai Business Bay. In this leadership role, you will oversee daily housekeeping operations, guide and support the team, and ensure all residences and public areas consistently reflect the refined luxury and world-class standards of the InterContinental brand.

As a Housekeeping Team Leader, you play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence, driving team performance, and ensuring every guest and resident enjoys an immaculate and memorable stay.
Your Day-to-Day
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
Leadership & Housekeeping Operations- Supervise and coordinate daily housekeeping activities across guest residences and public areas.
- Conduct room and area inspections to ensure cleanliness and presentation meet IHG Luxury & Lifestyle and Forbes standards.
- Allocate daily tasks, manage room assignments, and ensure productivity targets are achieved.
- Support the team during peak operations, special requests, and VIP preparations.
- Assist with deep cleaning schedules, turn-down services, and special projects as required.
- Ensure strict compliance with IHG standards, Dubai Municipality regulations, and health & safety protocols.
- Monitor proper use of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and linen handling procedures.
- Identify and report maintenance issues promptly to ensure guest comfort and operational efficiency.
- Maintain accurate records, checklists, and reports related to housekeeping operations.
- Train, coach, and motivate housekeeping colleagues to perform at their best.
- Lead by example, promoting professionalism, teamwork, and service excellence.
- Coordinate closely with Front Office, Engineering, and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
- Support onboarding and training of new team members, especially during pre-opening or peak periods.
- Promote best practices, modern cleaning techniques, and efficient workflows.
- Encourage continuous learning and development within the housekeeping team.
What We Need from You
Education- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Certificate or diploma in Hospitality Management, Housekeeping Operations, or a related field is an advantage.
- Ongoing training in luxury service standards, hygiene, or safety practices is highly valued.
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Team Leader or Supervisor in a luxury hotel, serviced residence, or upscale hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, cleaning standards, and inspection procedures.
- Pre-opening experience is a distinct advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong quality control skills.
- Proven ability to lead, motivate, and manage a diverse team.
- Strong organizational, communication, and time-management abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks when required.
