But could you be the one ensuring our hotel technology and IT operations run smoothly every day? We’re searching for an IT Specialist to support our hotel’s technology infrastructure and provide efficient technical assistance across departments at Crowne Plaza Kathmandu Pulchowk.
A little taste of your day-to-day:
Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:
● Supporting the daily operations of the IT department to ensure all hotel systems, networks, and technology infrastructure operate efficiently
● Assisting colleagues with technical support, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues in a timely manner
● Monitoring and maintaining computers, printers, POS systems, network equipment, telecommunication systems, and other hotel technology assets
● Coordinating closely with operational departments to support hotel systems including Front Office, Finance, Food & Beverage, and administrative functions
● Assisting with system installations, updates, backups, user access management, and preventive maintenance activities
● Supporting IT security practices, data protection measures, and compliance with hotel technology standards and policies
● Maintaining IT records, equipment inventories, and documentation related to support activities and system maintenance
● Assisting with vendor coordination and ensuring timely resolution of technical and system-related concerns
What We need from you:
● Diploma or higher education qualification in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
● Minimum 2–4 years of IT support or systems experience, preferably within the hospitality industry
● Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting procedures
● Good communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills
● Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced hospitality environment and respond to operational technology issues when required
● Familiarity with hotel systems, PMS, POS, networking equipment, and Microsoft environments preferred
● Knowledge of IT security practices, system maintenance, and technology support standards preferred
