A Taste of Your Responsibilities:

While each day may present unique tasks, you can typically expect to:

• Verify and audit daily revenue transactions from various hotel departments (e.g., Rooms, Food & Beverage, Spa).
• Reconcile daily sales and payment records, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
• Prepare and analyze daily revenue reports for management review.
• Ensure all revenue postings are accurate and comply with hotel policies and accounting procedures.
• Investigate and follow up on any revenue-related discrepancies or anomalies.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures related to revenue.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely revenue reporting.
• Maintain organized and accurate financial records.
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment.

What We Need From You:

• Proven experience in an accounting or auditing role, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• A strong understanding of basic accounting principles and revenue auditing procedures.
• Excellent mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Proficiency in using computer systems, including Microsoft Excel and ideally Property Management Systems (PMS).
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage tasks effectively.
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with colleagues.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and identifying potential issues.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English is highly desirable.
