As a Laundry & Kitchen Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing laundry and kitchen equipment, ensuring safe and efficient operations. You will play a critical role in supporting the daily operations of our hotel by minimizing equipment downtime and ensuring optimal functionality.

A little taste of your day-to-day

Every day is different, but you’ll mostly be:

· Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on all laundry and kitchen equipment (e.g., washers, dryers, dishwashers, ovens, steamers).

· Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues related to laundry and kitchen systems.

· Ensure all equipment is operated safely and maintained according to IHG standards and local regulations.

· Maintain inventory of tools, spare parts, and materials.

· Coordinate with the Engineering team for larger repairs or installations.

· Respond promptly to service requests and emergencies.

· Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports.

· Support energy-saving initiatives and sustainability practices.

· تشخيص وإصلاح المشاكل الميكانيكية والكهربائية والصحية المتعلقة بأنظمة المغسلة والمطبخ.

· ضمان تشغيل المعدات بأمان وصيانتها وفقًا لمعايير IHG واللوائح المحلية.

· الحفاظ على مخزون الأدوات وقطع الغيار والمواد.

· التنسيق مع فريق الهندسة لإجراء الإصلاحات أو التركيبات الكبيرة.

· الرد بسرعة على طلبات الخدمة والطوارئ.

· الحفاظ على سجلات دقيقة لصيانة المعدات وتقاريرها.

· دعم المبادرات المتعلقة بتوفير الطاقة والممارسات المستدامة.

What we need from you

· Technical diploma or certificate in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field.

· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role in a hotel, hospital, or industrial laundry/kitchen environment.

· Strong knowledge of commercial laundry/kitchen equipment and safety practices.

· Ability to read technical diagrams and manuals.

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.
